In short you have sucked.

At the end of 2023 I came back from South America, feeling changed, ready to create something new. One thing that I am realizing that caused an internal struggle, which I have been working on, I knew I was changed from my travels. My former self of ATL & the US clashed with my changed self. This was one thing that thankfully now I am moving on from.

The external struggle of the year was unemployment and a relationship break up. Both really broke me. Without therapy and my friends, I would not be moving in the right direction.

I know the universe and life brings us lessons and challenges for us to grow into. I am grateful to have loved, lost, and start again. I'm feeling more reconnected with myself. I am different, even if the space I am in feels the same. My heart feels bigger funny enough. This year has shown me resilience and strength. I am appreciative of this growth and who and what I have around me. I am grateful.

Paso a paso. A todos les mando amor y apoyo. Que hay otro dia para hacer lo suyo.

This is a street song. Salsa artists have an amazing way they share their stories and make you want to dance. The Europeans can keep their classical music, it's great, but Salsa is Latin America's classical.

Salsa is what our continent has, a blend and swirl of people, cultures, foods, thirst for life.

I live in multiple worlds, not enough in one language or location. Not American in the states and a gringo in Latinoamerica. Estas experiencias me ha hecho apreciar y vivir mi vida de mi manera. Se que no soy el único que siento esto, me da paz saber que no estoy solo.
