Hi everyone!! This was requested by @lemonypink! It’s a soulmate AU!! I’ve never written one so go easy on me! But the idea is that life is black and white until you meet your soulmate then you see color!! I hope that makes sense and I hope you enjoy!!

You smile gently walking into a room with a big circle table with JJ a newly found friend since you started working with the team at the BAU as a profiler along with mean extravagant ones. You smile softly sitting at the table not bothered anymore that all you see is black and white. You know that taking this job means that you’re going to be too busy for dates and such. Which is scary but you’re coming I terms with it.
“so since we’ve been friends for a few weeks now I think it’s time to tell secrets!” JJ says and you laugh smiling at her nodding turning to face her a bit. “Okay so I met my soulmate.. and god it’s beautiful.” She says and you smile nodding
“I bet it is.. I haven’t met my soulmate yet but In fact The term “soulmate” by definition is someone to whom you have a natural and deep affinity, bonded in commonality and compatible in most ways. This definition leaves room for the possibility that there can be any number of good matches. For the majority, however, the term “soulmate” still holds the fairytale promise-one person in the world you were always meant to be with. It carries with it the belief in a divine destiny and the idea that fate carves the way for the two to be together..” you say and JJ looks at you shocked
“Oh wow... you need to meet someone. I’m getting Derek..” she says jumping up running out of the room to leave you sitting alone looking at files on missing persons and murders
“Okay!” You assume Derek says as he sits down and you laugh a bit
“you need to meet a member on our team who happens to be coming back to work today form visiting his mom!” JJ says and you nod
“Oh Okay! I can’t wait!” You laugh looking back at the files as they whisper to each other. As you read the cases hearing footsteps not paying attention to who’s walking In the room.
“I’m sorry I’m late I’m so tired.. I didn’t get him to this morning and showered and came straight here!” He says and you look up shocked as everything starts to slowly turn into different hues of color and you smile softly heart racing as he looks at you.
“h-hi.. I’m Spencer Reid..” He says and you smile softly holding your hand out as everything goes full color as he grabs your hand shaking it.
“(Y/N)..” you say smiling brightly as JJ and Derek smile back in the distance and you’re unable to keep your eyes off of him.. Spencer Reid... your soulmate.
