Baby Genius | Spencer Reid

You shake feeling your heart pound looking at the positive pregnancy test on the sink of the bathroom at the BAU JJ and Garcia standing with you in awe
“who’s the dad..?” JJ asks and you smile a bit knowing what they’ll say
“it’s a bit of a long story... but to sum it up.. Last time we were in Vegas working a case.. I was up really late trying to figure everything out and someone happened to be walking by my door and hearing me be a bit frustrated..” you say
“oh it was Morgan it has to be!” Garcia says and you laugh a bit shaking your head
“No actually... um it was Spencer..” you days and they look at you shocked “Yeah.. and uh he was being really sweet and I started talking about my past relationships being abused and such.. and he was just there for me... but he kissed me.. and yeah..” you say softly and the smile brightly
“So what you’re saying is that you’re having a baby genius.” JJ says and you giggle softly nodding
“yeah I guess I am..” you smile happy looking at the test feeling so grateful
“How are you going to tell Spencer?” Garcia asks and you shrug “you have to tell him he’s about to go out on the field give him a reason to come back other than you.” She says and you shake a bit nodding.
“Do you have feelings for him..?” JJ asks and you blush a bit thinking about him and not able to stop smiling
“Yeah I do...” you say softly “I’m going to go tell him..” you say walking out of the bathroom the test in your hand
“Hey (Y/N), where are you going in such a hurry?” Hotch asks and you smile at him
“I’m looking for Spencer.. please tell me he hasn’t left yet.” You says and he smiles a bit pointing to the room he’s in and you smile
“thanks!” You say and quickly walk over to the room knocking softly walking in and he smiles instantly seeing you
“Hey (Y/N)!” Morgan says and you smile softly nodding
“Spence I need to talk to you.. it’s really really important..” you say softly and he nods looking concerned walking over looking into your eyes
“What’s going on honey..” he asks and you kinda look at Morgan telling him to get and he laughs walking out and shutting the door behind him
“Spencer.. Do you remember Vegas?” You asks and he smiles nodding
“Yeah how could I forget that... I literally haven’t forgotten anything since I was 8.” He smiles gently grabbing you hand “Not the point. Yes I remember..” he smiles and you blush lightly
“Well... um.. I’m pregnant..” you say softly shaking nervous now as you see his face light up and don’t feel as nervous
“Oh my god! We’re going to have a baby.” He laughs pulling you close to him hugging you tight “Oh! Did you know, Babies are born with a “diving reflex” known as bradycardic response, which causes their body to naturally adapt to their surroundings when submerged in water.!” He says excited and you laugh smiling at him heart racing
“Spencer Reid I’m glad I’m having your baby..” you smile and he nods blushing a bit
“Yeah.. me too.” He smiles kissing you softly.
