What are your top 5 favorite teenage rom coms/rom drams?

Oooh this is my JAM. My lady Jam. Ok, let’s see. I’m going to go with ones I played on repeat at some juncture in my life, because picking only 5 is almost impossible:

1) Son In Law. I was obsessed with this movie growing up. Watched it on repeat.

2) 10 Things I Hate About You. I mean, of Course.

3) Can’t Hardly Wait. Another one I watched on repeat. Led me to one of my favorite songs: Only You by Yazoo

4) Just One of the Guys. The first hidden gender movie I remember watching. Loved it.

5) Love and Basketball: still, TO THIS DAY, one of my all time favorites.

Do you prefer red or white wine?

It’s 2019, Jones, thine eyes and heart yield no preference over color— ALL wines were/are created equal under the presence of our almighty God, Alanis Morissette (#obscure reference).

My STOMACH, however, prefers dry.

As dry as a sizzling desert in August.

(TMI, but I get a rumbly in my tumbly if I drink sweet drinks.)

Also, I prefer my alcohol to be supplied intravenously.

69: Do you believe in soulmates:

That is a very loaded question — very apropos for #69– heyooooo!

Well it depends on your definition of Soulmates. But as a general, no. No I don’t believe in them. I’m pretty cynical when it comes to that kind of thing. I believe there are people in this world who are well suited for one another, who get the rare chance to fall deeply in love and possibly stay with each other forever, but the fairytale definition of “soulmates” is a no go for me.

Love and relationships are only long-lasting with a large amount of sacrifice, patience, and compromise. I also feel like you have to have a similar disposition or qualities in your other to keep things amicable (ie how you travel, how you deal with finances, how you eat at a restaurant, how you view sex, children, etc).

That all being said, I feel like you’re my soulmate.

7: Have tattoos?

*chokes down a laugh*

…funny story about that. Um yeah. I have 1. I got it when I turned 18. On my birthday, I went straight to Legendary Ink Tattoos and Piercings, 100 bucks in my pocket, an idea of what I wanted, but not a picture.

Got to the parlor, told them I had 100 dollars, and I wanted a 4 leaf clover “for luck” on my hip— (God, I was such a Basic B, poser cliche). They said, we can only do a three leaf clover, like a shamrock, for 100, but you come back with $50 bucks and we’ll add another leaf.

Long story short, I never went back. And I have an unlucky 3 leaf clover on my body forever and ever amen 😂😂. It’s still cute though. It doesn’t look botched; It just makes me laugh.

Bonus:

I went to ANOTHER shop on my 19th birthday to get a tie-dye peace sign in the middle of my back, and they said they couldn’t do it because I was on Accutane. And THAT kids is the moral of how young adult acne can save you from bad decisions.

What is your dream vacation?

Oooh that’s a tough one. I’m tempted to say, “anywhere with you, my love,” but that’s what you want me to say, isn’t it you saucy minx!

Hmmm I’d love to explore every nook and cranny of Europe. Fill my mouth with delicious dishes aplenty and my brain with so much culture that it might explode from the overload.

I’d love to hike and camp every National Park in the US, then move on to Banff in Canada (that’s a big one)

I’d love to scuba dive along the Great Barrier Reef, swimming with more species of marine life and plant life than I could possibly imagine.

I’d love to do some crazy shit in Thailand. Drink some thangs, eat some thangs, see some thangs. You know.

I’d love to see the stars up close. (This one will probably take a little more prep work than the rest. I’d have to go to the astronaut DMV and get my astronaut license. Which, I’ve heard has a long line bleeehhh).

I have a lot of dream vacations. I’ll check them off one by one and let you know if the realities stack up. 😉
