So I’m viewing my IG stories and see that Cory Godbey has reposted this story made by JM Lee:

JM Lee has written a story for the anthology, more than likely of course a Dark Crystal story

Does this mean…

TAVRONICA BACKSTORY???

This is a very high possibility bc I have info to back it up!!

At the 2022 Great Con-junction I attended a writer’s panels Lee was part of and one of the questions asked was something along the lines of what new stories would they (the writers) include in the franchise,

Lee’s answer was Tavra & Onica

I think we’re finally getting that in parts 3 and or 4 of the comics!! (Part 2 will be the second part of the Heretic/Wanderer story)

I don’t want to get hopes up too high but YO WE MIGHT BE GETTING AN AOR CANONICAL TAVRONICA STORY LETS GOOOO!!!

I keep breaking my hiatus for exceptions, but since this is a new story I thought I might as well plug it. I’ve heard the term Kylan Fever recently and it’s fair to say that I’ve had it since I first laid eyes on the character. In my opinion, Kylan is best boy and I think the YA novels show why far more than the TV series. This work is based completely on that YA continuity. Spoilers for the books (kind of), Kylan has always been somewhat vague on the severity of his abuse from Mera and the villagers growing up, so I took the liberty to try and capture what it might have been like for him and how his upbringing shaped the person he is at the start of the books when Naia first meets him. I exaggerated how much of a bitch Mera really is, but I don’t think anyone will fault me for it. I’d appreciate anyone who bothers to give it a read, even moreso if they leave a comment or kudos. It always helps motivate me in my writing. Updates will be sporadic as I’ve started my internship and basically work 7 days a week, but I will try to get back to it when I can, as well as trying to work on Lantern and another short story I am also working on. Right now, being busy is the number one reason I’m not posting as much as I used to. Well, I hope you like my story. Enjoy -DK
