It’s been a very long time since I posted anything on client development, so here is a little update to show that things are still moving along :)
This show Mushroom isle loading from a real server, with most of the scene loading. There is still much work to do, but this is a major milestone. The intention is to get this first starting zone working perfectly, then gradually work my way through the rest of zones. In theory, each one should get easier and easier.
SteamInitiative - Getting started with art
I think that at this point the project has matured enough to pursue an art-style. While I think the current style is close to the final style, I'm just a tad unsure about it. I guess more refinement is needed. I think the notion of improvement is setting in because when I look back at my previous work, I think "oh god why". So what do you guys think? Keep and refine the current style or suggest another style that would fit. Love to hear your comments. -DanqueDynasty

Sorry followers, I've been away on a Cruise to Bermuda for the past week or so and haven't had internet. Not that I really wanted to anyway.
I'll start development back up on the RTS game I've been working on, and I'm thinking I'm going to rewrite a lot of it and switch it to run on JMonkeyEngine. I hope everyone had a good week.
