How closely do you think Earth-Prime Lena and Kara’s history overlaps with their original history from Earth-38? Because now that I think about it, they wouldn’t have met the same way since Lex wasn’t trying to kill his sister here. So how do you think they might have met and became friends? And do you think Earth-Prime Lena knew SG’s real identity? Damn, they really screwed all of their shows with the Earth-Prime thing.
the cw has done a lot of incredibly fucking dumb stuff but the decision to destroy all the multiverses has to have been possibly the dumbest of all, because it not only fucks with dozens of plotlines we already had going but also leaves so many questions about what has now been essentially.. canonically retconned, i guess? or what hasn’t.
we know that lena isn’t the ceo of l-corp anymore (because it doesn’t exist) and kara doesn’t have her pulitzer anymore (because she couldn’t have written an exposé on lex), but i think we’re meant to believe that supergirl and lena became friends because lex owns the deo, and the deo and luthorcorp work hand-in-hand and thus very closely with supergirl.
but i have no idea if earth prime lena knew supergirl’s identity. i have to guess no...? but because lex essentially restored all of previous world lena’s memories, i don’t know if she even knew what pre-crisis earth prime lena knew?
like this whole concept is so fucking weird and difficult to parse and the show just truly hasn’t bothered to explain any of it at all. and it’s frustrating. at this point i think the best case scenario would be for them to just pretend that CoIE never happened lmao
