BTW: My favorite mental construct is most likely... The G-men. They're just too neat.

🐱 Who was your first hermit?

Technically Grian. But when I watched him he wasn't apart of Hermitcraft yet.

If I remember correctly I think it was Doc? I remember just randomly know about him from his area 77 build with Scar (?). I think I got attached to his somewhat gruff voice but playful attitude for a bit before moving on years ago.

ohoho I would LOVE to hear your headcanons about these old folks. But first, are there any you couldn't fit or in the fics you've posted so far? Any more scenes that we saw or didn't get to see?

Man oh man I have so many headcanons for those dorks, and there's some that I haven't shown yet but I have plans to incorporate them into fics at some point, so trying to pick something specific for this is tough, lol.

One that comes to mind is that while Ford actively asking Otto about his ideas for psychic tech and learning more about psychic abilities when they first met was a great start, Otto is still hesitant to fully trust Ford. After the end of The Gatherer, Otto was definitely rambling about his ideas, but it takes a while for him to be fully comfortable with sharing all of his ideas with him.

Once Ford and Otto really get to know each other though? They're thick as thieves and the brain cell is tossed to the side, lol.

They also have that kind of friendship where they just affectionately tease each other. It takes a little bit for them to get there, but later they're just looking at each other after something blows up in their face and call each other idiots (affectionate).

Enlighten us about your psychonauts x borderlands AU

Okay so,

basically it's just kinda a "Borderlands but some characters are psychics now" AU? All Sirens are psychics (and extremely powerful ones at that), most but not all Vault Hunters are psychics, etc. And of course my faves are psychics because I'm biased. Also Eridium is Psitanium because yes.

I don't have that many headcanons for mental worlds yet but the later part (the whole. Corpse Of An Eldritch God stuff) of Guns, Love and Tentacles takes place in Wainwright's mental world.

Do it. Share to us how Cassie does her hair. (I was about to metaphorically shake you for Otto or Ford or Lucy Hcs, but you mentioned Cassie and we definitely need more of her)

You are entirely right the world needs more Cassie O’Pia

She always takes her showers in the morning. 100%. Must have that routine. Then she puts it up, and lets it airdry on its own.

Cassie loves to wear her hair in a bun, but she only does it when she has time. She does it more as she gets older and has more free time.

Usually, she wears it with a bandana or headscarf-- She and Lucy love to find new ones and talk about designs. She’s a huge fan of accessories but rarely has the time.

If her hair is in a bun, she will take after Bob and put stuff in it. Usually pencils. They tend to get stuck there as she looks for them around her library. 

She doesn’t tend to think much about appearances, though she would love the light academia style. When she’s told about it, she doesn’t instantly try it, but she would eventually quietly ask someone about it and get a flood of “You should do it!!! You’d look great in that!!”

Please. light academia cassie. that’s a desperate thing i’m begging for it.

Her relationship with Otto is very much strained. They don’t talk much at all, and they share very little in common. Even so, they love to do pun contests against each other, to an insane degree. They will not stop after it’s started.

Cassie and Ford both love Lucy. I completely accept the “Cassie likes Lucy” hc and 100% agree that Lucy has two hands. 

Lucy and Cassie were really, really close. Both loved getting to babysit for the others but didn’t want kids of their own. It really hurt her when Lucy left.

Cassie and Compton definitely talk through the bees. Just. “Cassie told me to tell you [x]” and vice versa.
