I’ve been playing Stardew Valley again, but with the Stardew Valley Expanded mod. It’s been an absolute blast exploring new areas and meeting new people, since I’m very familiar with the game and have played it a lot of times. So today’s sketchbook is my farmer, Joaquin. This is kind of a redraw of a piece I did for Inktober last year, and I can’t say how much happier I am with this version. 

I wish I had a letter from Grandpa right about now, hahaha.

Some style experimentation this morning; yes im still deep in a new replay of Stardew Valley and also Joaquin is fun to draw. im not sure this is up to the quality i like on the sketchbook blog but here it is on main.

I meant for this to be more loose and cartoony but it didn’t end up that way... oh well, Joaquin usually does his own thing anyways
