Hey man I think there’s something behind you
Something’s wrong with the Wickers
Needed to draw this to get it out of my head
I have a strange phobia of possessing/body snatching/puppeteering stuff but only certain things trigger it.
Like Voltaire didn’t, but this scene definitely did. I think it has something to do when the possessed person maintains a tainted version of their personality.
You 🫵 want to read the 8k+ fanfiction I wrote about a character who has a speaking role once in a 200 episode podcast. (Read the tags/content warnings first)
hfth au where Jocelyn Wicker runs away instead of Johannah and ends up getting staying with the Friends of Zelda for a while and at the start she’s absolutely disgusted by how these people of living and by the end she has a girlfriend and is learning witchcraft from Winona
I’ll always be kind of insane about Mrs. Wicker resenting Jocelyn for having the respect of and authority over her siblings when she’s the reason Jocelyn has that position in the first place. She gave her the responsibility and burden of practically raising her siblings, but then when that responsibility leads to the kids being more willing to listen to Jocelyn then their mom because Jocelyn’s actually there, and she actually listens, and she doesn’t beat them for disagreeing with her, she hates her for it.
And the thing that gets me about it is that Jocelyn doesn’t even want that. But she loves her siblings and her mom isn’t there and Jacob and Joshua are busy and so it’s her responsibility, whether she likes it or not. She’s basically caught in a damned if I do damned if I don’t type situation because if she doesn’t take care of her siblings, her mom’s going to hate her for being lazy and irresponsible and someone’s probably going to get hurt, but if she does, her mom’s going to hate her for taking her place. She’s just doing the best she can with her situation, and her mom hates her for the very thing that she made her do.
Like ma’am, you’re not allowed a to get mad at her for not wanting to have to take your place in the house but then resent her for taking your place in the house.
Uploading some Jocelyn Wicker sketches that I’ve done over the past couple of weeks instead of doing my English homework
I have a couple reasons for wanting Percy and Jocelyn Wicker to meet and one of those is that the image of a former Catholic and a former Baptist getting into a heated debate about theology that neither of them believe in anymore is, for some reason, very amusing to me.
I think Jocelyn Wicker should be allowed to kill
