it was a peaceful wednesday, the birds were chirping, the sun was shining through the white curtains, and you were cuddling with joe but most importantly your dog, marley. was sleeping right by your feet
you absolutely adored marley. even if he made a mess in the house. I mean come on how can you be mad at a cute face like that
5:45pm
you were scrolling on instagram, laying down on yours and joe's shared bed while joe was ending his stream, and for some reason you randomly got the idea to take marley to the beach
y/n - hey joe, im going to take marley to the beach, you say getting up from the bed "do you want to come?"
joe - babe is that even a question? he says giving you a confused look like you really just said that, "of course I want to go, do you really think I want to stay at home?" he says getting up from his gaming chair trying to look for his shoes
and you just laughed at his facial expression because now that was ingraved in your brain. and as you grabbed marley's leash and grabbed his collar and connecting the leash to it
marley started jumping and barking because he knew someone was taking him for a walk
and as you and joe left the apartment, and joe talking about his stream and other stuff, you were distracted by a pretty sunset forming, it was gorgeous seeing colors together forming an ombre
and of course joe knew you weren't listening to his rambling, but he also knew why because as soon he turned to look at the sky he stopped talking and was mesmerized by how pretty it was, you and joe seen a lot of sunsets but this one. this one was different
as you entered the beach you let marley off the leash and started talking to joe, and eventually you sat down on the sand due to tiredness and as joe sat down next to you, marley was playing with the sand, jumping in and out of the water and licking you and joe
and as the sun was setting and marley slowly going to sleep on your leg, you were curled, hugging joe while he was kissing the top of your head
and you were happy knowing that two of your favorite people, joe and marley. were here with you, and god. you wouldn't change a thing about that
