If I’m not mistaken Bendis did say that Magneto would still be in Uncanny

I am going to have to look for that. What I had read previously implied he was striking off on his own, because everyone had betrayed or failed him.

The Jim Lee/Chris Claremont issues of X-Tinction Agenda were amazing

Seriously. My memory has made an otherwise average event into something so much more based solely on the strength of their 3 issues. When I think back to the X-Tinction Agenda not much of the nostalgia comes from the New Mutants, or X-Factor issues. 80% of it is easily wrapped up in Uncanny.

Emma hands down. Jean and Scott felt like a high school relationship.

There is something to that idea.

One of the ideas I have bouncing around in my head is whether on not BotA is going to change how this story plays out. That cover to WatX 39 has me considering a bunch of What If's?

Like What if Future Adult-Teen Jean stays in the present, and we lose current teen Jean?

That arc is where I fell in love with Bachalo.

I have loved his art since I was a kid. He is one of those artists whose evolution has always worked with my particular tastes at the time.

It is really interesting when I look at some of his art from the past that I loved at the time, but not so much anymore. Particularly in his humongous shoulder pad Wolverine phase.
