A little weird to have met, talked with and photographed a traitor. This is Proud Boy Joe Biggs, who you saw mentioned and on video several times last night in the Jan 6th committee presentation and who was indicted for seditious conspiracy earlier this week. The week before the 2016 election, when most everyone assumed Trump would lose, @refinery29 sent me down to DC to photograph an ironically Trump-themed pop-up bar. Near the end of the night a group of hardcore Trumpers and Proud Boys including Biggs showed up. They were...hesitant about the guy with the camera, but I explained to Biggs why I was there taking pictures and he and they relaxed and he chatted me up for a bit and then posed for this pic.
