BANDSTAND
I LOVE this musical. It emphasized the fact that many soldiers may be viewed as heroes, but they themselves do not feel like they are. They do their best to survive in the battlezone, hoping they and their friends emerge alive.
To all the soldiers during this coronavirus pandemic -- all the doctors, nurses, grocers, delivery personnel, essential product producers, government officials, donation drive organizers, and other essential workers -- I hope someone you love opens the door and welcomes you home everyday.
