Have I ever told you guys I write poetry

It's been a hot while since I've actually written any poetry, but I was looking through some new fonts I downloaded and found a gorgeous line that gave me some mad inspiration. I've always loved nature, and I absolutely adore the idea of the plants and trees seeing things that they cannot speak, so have a poem sort of embodying that. Sort of a thing on closed season hunting or otherwise hunting animals for sport as well. Feel free to leave your thoughts!

~A Forest's Plea~ A cool summer breeze awakens the trees Do you hear me? Are my warnings not enough to make you flee? The branches are listening They see what you have left glistening Have you no shame? Do you believe that you deserve no blame?
