ITS. WELL...
basically lil silver has this imaginary friend, mephiles. but meph isnt "imaginary" just this demon who only revealed himself to silver (and basically wants to use the tiny hedgehog since SILVER PACKS A LOT OF POWER IN HIS TINY FLUFFY BODY)
but uhh its been sort of split into two timelines!
one where silver doesnt listen to meph telling him to do bad things and continues to be a good boy
but ofc the other timeline is silver listening to mephiles the butt and being a innocent yet evil thing

yeah definitely, that's my biggest concern for the sdr2 anime unu
they had to cut so much out for the first dangan ronpa to fit it all into 13 episodes.
i went through watching the dr anime with a friend who had never previously played the game or knew anything about it, and it was interesting because with all the character bonding time you get through the game vs. seeing very few clips of them and suddenly they're killed, the emotional impact isn't as great?? like people are still sad, but they didn't get time to really know the character, due to the story having to progress so quickly.
i know the dr anime people want to make an sdr2 anime and everyone is pretty sure it'll happen, but they said it depends on sales of the dr anime dvds/blu-rays. which means their budget is probably tight, and chances of the sdr2 anime being longer than 13 episodes is rare.
sdr2 is longer than dr though, so that worries me about just how much they'll have to cut out.
