I received the first book, Good Girl, Bad Girl, from Tandem Collective UK as an audio book and as soon as I finished it I couldn't wait for the next book and had to get it straight away. I loved hearing the narrator again and getting back into Evie and Cyrus' lives. This book dove deeper into Evie's past into a world that many people ignore. Child sex trafficking. This is such an intense topic that it is heart-stopping at times. So much so that I would have to have a break from listening. I felt sick and pained by Evie's story and the amount that she went through. This book explores this honestly and doesn't shy away from details. There is nothing bad to say about these two books. The ending was a relief but of course it wasn't a fairy tale ending. Scars don't just disappear. All the questions that were unanswered in the first book were clearly answered in this one. I don't see a need for a third book and haven't heard that there is going to be one. I understand that this book covers a very intense topic but I do recommend it.
