One of the things that you might want to visit in Hong Kong is the Ten Thousand Buddha Monastery. If you want to have some exercise and burn those calories you had from all of the food you ate last night in Kowloon, this is the place to be! To be able to reach the monastery located above the mountain, you need to go through a 15-20 minute walk up stairs from its entrance. So you really need to work your booty to reach the top like what I did 😂 It's actually nice going up there because the place isn't that crouded. Although there were handful of tourists that were also there during our visit, the place is surprisingly calm and the air is fresh. You will really feel like you're in the province when you get there because of the ambience of the place. Plus, there are a lot of trees that makes you just wanna stay there and chill. It's literally away from the hustle and bustle of the streets of Hong Kong's concrete jungle. Fun fact: There are no monks living in this monastery and there are 13,000 monk statues in that place! If you want to visit this place, you can follow these easy instructions that you are about to read. I also added some photos that you can use as a guide. So we came from TST area where our hotel is located. We took the MTR to Sha Tin Station. Once you reached Sha Tin station's exit, the first thing that you'll gonna see is the Bus station. Facing the buses, walk on your left. There will be a walkway like a ramp going to the street level. Walk. Just walk. Don't be scared, just walk. Once you are at the street side, you'll see a little park on your left. Walk straight. Walk until you reach IKEA. Once you reached IKEA, turn left. Walk until you reach Sheung Wo Che road. It's in your right side. Walk on that road. Do not panic if you see a dead-end when you turn right because you are in the right spot. Checkout the photos that I posted here and you'll see this little walk way. Enter the walk way and turn left. (It's very small walk way) Walk straight and you'll see this tarpaulin welcoming you to the Monastery. Enjoy and have fun! 👌😜 #Travel #Migrationology #HongKong #JofyCreams #Asia #PinoyAbroad #Tourism #TravelForFood (at Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery)
