grief was a hell of a thing, it’d been around 4 months since they’d lost the baby; 4 months of endless recklessness, 4 months of spiraling, 4 months of doing any and everything without thinking twice if it were a good idea or not. needless to say, it’d been a fucking wreck in the de jager household for quite some time. holden himself had gone back to snorting up painkillers, going down a k hole with ket, he was pretty positive on more than one occasion - especially before work lately - he’d done coke again. johan, well, he had a drink in had any time that holden saw him, or he was going out with the girls again for the night out and holden was left at the house alone, which meant he would dig deeper into the drug hole until he crashed on the sofa. today was a pretty big deal, holden had spent all night working on his portfolio because he had some sketches that were worthy of going in the book - sketches in fact that he’d spent all fucking night drawing for his clients that were supposed to be coming in today to see what holden had drawn up for them.

he could have sworn that he left his sketch pad on the kitchen island after he and johan got back from a run to mama rosa’s - it seemed to be their go to place for any sort of food these days - but when he went back, there was nothing there. and holden was in no mood for this; the man hadn’t had his fix in about a day and he was feeling the repercussions of that. so he walked into the kitchen, again and searched high and low. “fucking christ.” he mumbled under his breath as he looked on the counter tops. “johan, have you seen my sketch book?” holden asked as he turned to look at the man.

How do much do I ship it?: Never heard of it/ Notp / Dislike / used to ship / maybe / ship it / aww / otp / IS IT CANON YET?-It’s cute but it’s not one of my top MK ships. Johnny is also the rare character where there are a bunch of pairings that I like with him.What non sexual activities do they like to do together?: Watch movies. Raiden isn’t as into them as Johnny, but he’s still excited to see him happy. Who does chores around the house?: Raiden more than Johnny. Johnny isn’t opposed to doing chores, but Raiden typically takes care of them before Johnny gets around to it. Johnny’s mom used to be the same way, so Johnny isn’t even aware of how few chores he does.Who’s the better cook?: Raiden. Johnny can cook things were the instructions are “put in microwave,” “stir everything in a pan,” or “boil” anything else and he’s too impatient for it. How long will they last? -Hmm... I guess as long as Johnny is alive. Then again, with the way Raiden makes terrible decisions, his life might be the more limiting factor!

How quickly did/will they fall in love? -I think it was a slow thing. Johnny was a bit skeptical about Raiden’s god status. And, to make it work with MKX, I think Johnny and Sonya hooked up before Johnny and Raiden. 

How was their first kiss? -Very chaste! Especially for Johnny. He didn’t know how Raiden would react so he wanted to be careful

Who proposed? -Johnny. Raiden honestly thought it was a bit silly, but appreciated the gesture nonetheless  

Who is the best man/men? -Johnny has so many friends!!!! Umm!!! Jax??? No... Sonya? Kenshi???EVERYONE WAS THE BEST MAN!!

Who is the braid’s maid(s)? -Fujin of course!

How often do they bake desserts? -All the time. Johnny has a sweet tooth to rival any toddler!

Are they more of a meat lover or a salad eater? -To counter his massive sugar consumption, Johnny eats a lot of salads.

Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner?-Johnny? But Raiden doesn’t eat so what a terrible anniversary gift!

Who is more likely to suggest going out? -Johnny. Cooking is haaaarrd

Who is more likely to burn the house down accidentally while cooking? -Johnny. 

Chores:

Who cleans the room? -Raiden. Johnny was going to get to it. Eventually. 

Who is really against chores? -Neither, but Raiden is more diligent about it. 

Who cleans up after the pets? -Raiden. They were probably his.

Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug? -Johnny. Johnny, that isn’t how cleaning.

Who stresses the most when guests are coming over? -Johnny. Raiden just likes company. Johnny wants to wow them

Who found a dollar between the couch cushions while cleaning? -Johnny. Raiden would have overlooked it.

Misc:

Who takes the longer showers/baths?-Johnny! Complete with singing!

Who takes the dog out for a walk?-What dog? I guess Raiden since it’s probably his. Imagine how sad Raiden would be when his puppy doesn’t want to go outside because the thunder is too scary! Raiden just standing there trying to explain that the thunder is good and everything is fine :<

How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays?-All the time. Johnny is a seasonal guy!

What are their goals for the relationship?-Goals??? What???

Who is most likely to sleep till noon?- Johnny. Beds are nice.

Who plays the most pranks?-Johnny. Then he passes the torch to Cassie.
