John Jo really has that delivery that makes you want to scream along the lyrics with conviction to every song. Mic Check is absolutely no different as he hits you with punchlines over a sweet chopped beat. Mic check is your best bet if you want something reminiscent of old school but familiar to today’s artists such as a Meek Mill. Definitely peep Mic Check by FreeJohnJo.
Got’ Em is a similar story but at the same time very different. The energy in this song is out of this world! The flows incredibly quick but a word is never missed as yet again the delivery is beyond on point throughout everything. John Jo really displayed that most MC’s can’t fluctuate on the mic like him on this track. Between Mic Check and Got’Em you gotta check out the rest of John Jo’s catalog.
