Thinking about what would be an interesting antagonist for Cass and I thought about a villain who could multiply themselves like the Everywhere Man or Billy Numerous, I just like the idea of Cassandra trying to decipher which one is the original copy while fighting through an army of the same person.

Especially if they took advantage of the copies each having a different fighting style.

I imagine it going something a bit like when she fought that League of Shadows army in Detective Comics, lol.

This take has permanently altered my perception not only of Marlowe’s Faust but also of Goethe’s, and the whole myth in general. So smart, so incisive, so tragicomically sad.
