UFC veterans Nordine Taleb, John Moraga and Hector Sandoval are all set for action at ARES FC 2 in April.
Happy John Moraga is out here getting dates. Before the Figs loss and getting cut, dude looked like he had made some strides as he rattled off three straight wins. Hopefully a couple wins gets him somewhere big.

Figueiredo throws heat. When he got Moraga down and was just throwing elbows and hammerfist from the top, you could tell every shot was really hurting Moraga. Bloodied him up from the top in the 2nd. Then he dropped Moraga twice once Moraga got back up before some more GnP to finish the fight.
Huge statement win for Figueiredo who is just growing exponentially in between fights. Improves to 15-0 while being 4-0 in the UFC with 3 TKO wins.

Brazilian flyweight Deiveson Figueiredo (14-0) is on quite the run. 3-0 in the UFC with two stoppage wins under his belt, Figueiredo has been an exciting watch at 125lbs. The Alcantara trained fighter will be looking to establish himself as a proper contender in the division this Saturday (August 25) when he takes on former title challenger John Moraga (19-6) at UFC Fight Night Lincoln.

Sergio Pettis takes UD over John Moraga
Sergio Pettis grabs his biggest win to date, taking a decision over former title challenger John Moraga in a 3 rounder. Had a great first round, where he battered Moraga on the feet and managed to drop him with less than 10 seconds left in the round. From there, it only got more competitive as Pettis slowed down. Unlike in other performances though, Pettis didn’t get himself into serious trouble. Might have dropped a round but won the 3rd and the fight as a result.
Think the Formiga fight is the right fight for him next. Glad to hear he still wants it.
