Anders KOs Williams on a headkick in the 3rd as he scrambled to his feet.

Williams got pushed to the ground but as he went to stand, Anders threw a  head kick that lands literally .1 of a second after Williams’ hand left the ground. Ya Boi gets the 3rd round KO.

Williams did well prior to the KO. Won the first round pretty definitively by feinting and scoring the takedown. Anders just wouldn’t throw. When he came out in the 2nd, Anders just start putting the left hand out there. After 1 or 2 exchanges in the 2nd, he managed to bloody up Williams.

All in all, Anders did a good job of marching Williams down along the fence but he just didn’t do enough when Williams was there. Looked really stiff and sluggish tbh. Did some really good thing, throwing that left hand when Williams would try to pivot out on exchanges was pretty cool.

He came back and won. That was the craziest first round of the year.

Deiveson Figueiredo stops John Moraga in the  2nd!

Then he goes full Tito Ortiz with the gravedigger celebration.

Figueiredo throws heat. When he got Moraga down and was just throwing elbows and hammerfist from the top, you could tell every shot was really hurting Moraga. Bloodied him up from the top in the 2nd. Then he dropped Moraga twice once Moraga got back up before some more GnP to finish the fight.

Huge statement win for Figueiredo who is just growing exponentially in between fights. Improves to 15-0 while being 4-0 in the UFC with 3 TKO wins.

Cory Sandhagen!!!!!!!!!!!

Cory Sandhagen just survived the deepest armbar i’ve seen someone survive since Roger-Jacare then proceeded to beat the life out of Iuri Alcantara for about the last 3 minutes of the first round. If it wasn’t for Whittaker-Romero, the first round would have been round of the year.

Sandhagen proceeds to drop Alcantara to start the 2nd, pounding on him til the ref stops the fight. 2nd Round TKO for Sandhagen.

I’m on the Cory Sandhagen Train. Dude is inhuman.

JOANNE CALDERWOOD WITH THE TRIANGLE ARMBAR SUB!

Jojo adding BJJ to the tool belt. Gets taken down early by Kalindra Faria and basically is on her back for 4 and a half minutes before grabbing a wrist and throwing up her legs for the triangle. She gets Faria to tap right before the end of the first round. Huge win for Calderwood.

Fun scrap between the two strawweights. Didn’t see the entire thing but the parts I saw were pretty darn great.

James Krause stops Warlley Alves in the 2nd

not so much a flying knee so much as a hop, but Krause cataches Alves with a knee that puts Alves on skates. He follows it up with combos forcing Alves to teh cage until the ref steps in to call the fight. Great performance from Krause who was content touching Alves. Flustered him with his reach, attacked the body well and had Alves swinging at air.
