I preferred when the asexuality spectrum wasn’t mentioned in context of Homelander bc now people are either saying “HE IS NOT ASEXUAL” bc they are either angry at soldier boy (rightfully!!!!!!!!!!!!but still, it’s not a reason to not do your research) or don’t get it. Or say “HE IS ASEXUAL” but it comes out way too enthusiastic bc have we forgotten that his sexuality was a weapon since…well. Always.

It’s a grey space, we can talk about it, just let it remain grey. Ace people can be attracted to others and seek connection, ace can come from trauma.

And ace is usually a VERY sensitive subject to some people so be careful how you speak about it.

As an ace person I’m more hurt with how everyone’s reacting than the show itself lol

It also makes me uncomfortable cause it's literally what happened to him as a child, when he was exploring sexuality and they shut him off with bullying.
