LoveJets Anthology
The anthology LoveJets, Queer Male Poets on 200 years of Walt Whitman, edited by Raymond Luczak, which celebrates the memories of queer authors such as Whitman himself, Hart Crane, Constantine Cavafy, Essex Hemphill, Tim Dlugos, James Baldwin, John Spicer, James Merrill, Thom Gunn, Authur Rimbaud, Fredrico Garcia Lorca, Langton Huges, Paul Monette, Allen Ginsberg, and W.H. Auden containing author whose poems included in this anthology are inspired by queer poets like those who were inspired or felt free to celebrate the love of men for men openly such as Jeffrey Beam, David Trinidad, Alfred Corn, Edmund White, Gavin Geoffrey Dillard, Timothy Lui, Michael Lassell, Jamie Enrique, Felice Picano, Jeff Mann, Raymond Luczak, Brain Borland, David Groff, Marcos J. Martinez, and Ian Young as well as contains my memorial poem for Paul Monette called “Prelegy” is due out next month through Squares & Rebels Press. Was looking through my art on this blog and realized I never posted this on here. Shake it Like a Polaroid is a real bop, even if some of the lyrics aren't understandable and I can't find reliable lyrics online.
Last night was absolutely incredible. Meeting Jeremy was surreal - he is such a sweet guy, and really down to Earth. As is the rest of the band!
We got in a quick apology on behalf of the good side of Voltron fandom too, because none of the actors deserve the harassment they get.
I managed to get a selfie with everyone but Zack (he pretty much bolted right after the gig aha), but everyone was incredible! I can’t wait to see the band make it big!
