January 3 – The Birthday of J.R.R. Tolkien 🌿✨
Today, we celebrate the birth of the man who gifted us Middle-earth, elves, dwarves, hobbits, and, of course, the epic tales of the First Age—our beloved "The Silmarillion."
Tolkien wasn’t just a writer; he was a world-builder, a linguist, and the creator of an entire mythology. His works continue to inspire millions, and his worlds remain an inexhaustible source of wonder, creativity, and debate.
On this day, it’s worth remembering that Tolkien began weaving his legends in his youth. "The Silmarillion" is a story of love, betrayal, heroism, and loss, deeply rooted in the fabric of time. Without it, Middle-earth would not be the same as we know it today.
What moment from "The Silmarillion" do you find yourself returning to again and again? Or perhaps, like Fëanor, you feel inspired today to create something of your own? Share your thoughts, ideas, and gratitude for the great Professor in the comments!
