So I can’t remember ever reading any, and I’m wondering, are there any ‘John objects at his own wedding’ stories out there? Like he keeps waiting for Sherlock to revert to type and run M off, but it keeps going on and maybe J is convinced S is playing the long game until finally he’s at the alter and just has a wtf? sort of moment.
A pre-wedding convo of J straight up asking S if he’s actually going to stand there and watch him marry someone would work, too. Anything along those lines, really.
Hey Lovely!
AHHHHH Good question! I can't recall any at all. Anyone able to help us out??
The moment when Sherlock died inside.
In this moment, he broke. He must have had thoughts in his head like: "What a fool I am. I hoped for something that cannot be. Feelings are stupidity, weakness. Mycroft was right. I am worthless. I am alone. I am not worthy of love. Time to drown out feelings again. Nicotine patches won't help this time. Time to contact an old friend".
Just look at his face. His heart is broken.

#94 - A secret solution
(one shoot, 221 words)
Summary: Greg is trying to help Sherlock after John's wedding... but Sherlock has already a solution.
It was a week after John wedding, and Greg was at Baker Street to check up on Sherlock.
“How are you?” He looks horrible… How could John be so idiotic!
“Fine... Don’t worry Greg…” Sherlock's tone was falsely cheerful, his heart slowly building back the wall he had before he met John.
Greg frowns, he used my name… that’s not good. “You certainly don’t look fine…”
“Then stop looking and leave.” Why people are suddenly so concerned about how I feel… Ms Hudson, Molly, Mycroft…
“Sherlock, you know you can talk to me… If you… If you are thinking about getting back to your old habits.” Greg puts slowly a hand on his friend shoulder. “I’m there for you… We are all.”
The detective quickly shrugs away the hand and gets up to walk away. “I am perfectly fine!”
“I want you to know that I am there for you!” Greg repeats.
“I ignored you perfectly the first time, you don’t need to repeat it!”
The older man rises to follow him “You can’t keep suffering like this!”
Opening the door, Sherlock silently waits for Greg to leave him alone.
“I will come back!”
Sherlock closes the door, thinking about the injection that was waiting for him. Don’t worry Greg… I won’t suffer pathetically for long… and he turns the bolt.
If you are super-enthusiast and don’t want to wait to read the 221 ‘221b’ in that series in order: The sum of their secrets

Sherlock, writing a speech for John and Mary's wedding: Ah, yes. Good. This is going to be great. 10/10. I'm going to be very professional and calculated, because that is what I am. I am a sociopath.
Sherlock, actually giving the speech: Uh. Um. Yes. Telegrams. Why are they called that?? Not important. Anyways, John is good. I'm doing a v good job. Yes. Speech. Bee-Tee-dubs, Mary, you're preggers and Major Sholto might actually die.
THE BEST MAN - CULVERTON SMITH
A while back, the brilliant @fellshish made the discovery that in TLD, we see a flash of Culverton in the same wedding clothes John and Sherlock wore to John’s wedding. But why? What could it mean? Today, I figured it out. AND IT ALL SPELLS FUCKERY.
S4 is fake as fuck. I mean we know this, BUT COME ON.
Fellshish’s post is here: X
Take a look at that, then see this:
They have *literally told us* how fake this series was.

Culverton to me seems--in ways--like a Sherlock mirror, as much as he might sort of resemble an evil version of John. And what does Culverton do? He drugs his “best friends” in order to confess a secret to them. Something he wants them not to remember if they don’t react well. Could Sherlock have drugged John at some point and confessed his feelings to him? And John wasn’t ready to hear it? Just a thought....
Besides, we already have our John mirror: Faith, with her cane.
What’s the worst thing you could do to your best friend...
