“I love Christy! Please, I mean -  Christy is like one of the kindest, sweetest, caring souls. So, I was actually like - ‘this girl's a big deal and she's amazing’ because Christy is incredible. And I had seen her in the first national tour of Spring Awakening at the Ahmanson. So, I made that connection and I was like, ‘Oh crap, that’s the girl. That's the girl!’ So, I was a little bit like, I guess, starstruck-ish. Like, I knew that she was really nailing it and I'd seen her do Spring Awakening, which is one of my favorite shows and I was kind of blown away. So, I was like, ‘that's awesome I get to like do my scenes and play her love interest in this’. Yeah, I love Christy. She was very, very, sweet to me. We like got food during lunch breaks and dinner breaks and things together to kind of like get to know each other because we were on stage a lot together. She's the best. I love her, dearly. And obviously, we have a long history together so that was a really cool way to kick that relationship and a friendship off. “
