Operation Shiftiness was a go. Aquene had made certain that John was in the shower before getting everything ready for him. She would be down in her first session for the day by the time he came out and left for his own job. 

She had bought him a boxed lunch last night before she got home and managed to keep it hidden. On top of the lunch was a little note.

My John,

The last few days since you have moved in with me have been truly wonderful. I know they can only get better from here. 

I bought you lunch (because we both know I fail at cooking). I hope you like it. Have a great day at work, sweetie.

Aquene had been out running errands. It seemed there were no escape from them, even in her dreams. Then the next thing she knew John had pulled her into an alleyway, her massage and art supplies crashing to the ground of the market without so much as anyone batting an eyelash. After she had thought he had been upset, but she was way off. 

Frustration had driven John to finding her, and both of their clothes had vanished. Dreams had a funny way with being handy like that. Hands teased her bare skin as the rough alley wall dug into her skin. 

Just as she had stated to feel him enter her something started to lick her face. In her dream it was John, but why would he lick her forehead like that?

Upon waking Aquene had found that it was her beard cat, Shinji. Ooh. Just when the dream was getting good, too!

Aquene shivered from the unexpected contact and a giggle bubbled up. "Oooh, that's how you're going to play?" she asked with a sly grin. Feet nimbly shifted under her before she pounced John gleefully.

Playing House :||: John-in-the-sky

Aquene waited in the cafe John owned, her feet tapping nervously under the table. They had been together for almost a year now and had only grown closer. Now she wanted to take the logical next step forward and see if they could cohabitate, but she was terrified he'd say no.

In truth she had thought of this ever since they had returned from the beach. Her eyes focused on the coffee in hand as she waited for him to get off.
