🔎 - Random detail about them 💢 - Something other’s do that gets on their nerves
🔎 - Random detail about them
Meelo is a very talented animal tamer and artist. One thing he’s bad at is sports. He’s terrible at airball and often scores against himself because he hurls the ball too hard it bounces back into his own goal and he never wins any airscooter races.
💢 - Something other’s do that gets on their nerves
Being compared (in a patronizing light) to his older siblings. Such as when he demonstrates an airbending move and someone says “Oh, that looks great! But I remember how perfect Jinora/Ikki did it.”
@korra-naga
“Avatar Korra.” Wu tried to lean seductively on something, but there was nothing actually there to lean on, so he just sort of stumbled. He caught himself. Smooth. “You know, now that I’m king for real, I could finally show you around the Earth Kingdom without the risk of assassination this time. My advisors assure me it’s 89% likely to be safe.”

Interesting asks (all odd numbers please)
Interesting Asks
@korra-naga
1. If you could have the chance to make out with 5 celebrities, who would you choose and why?
[I guess I would go with Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Aniston, Daisy Ridley, and Elizabeth Olsen. The reason would be because I know them from films and TV, shows. Not only do I like their portrayals but when I look at behind the scenes or the panels at conventions, their personalities and their fun side to the public just draws me in.]
3. What is the biggest injury you’ve ever sustained and how did you do it?[The biggest injury that I remember would be breaking my arm when I was in elementary. The way it happened is that somebody pushed me down the stairs and I fell all the way down landing on my arm. Luckily that’s the worst thing that I can remember happening to me.]
5. What is the most unique animal you’ve ever touched?
[The weirdest one was a sort of eel-fish like creature at the beach that I could never figure out what it was. Otherwise it would be a friend’s pet snake boa that almost bit me when I wasn’t looking.]
7. Which 3 countries would you LEAST like to live in and why?
[I don’t have any specific ones but I don’t think I would enjoy living in a country that is too arid or desert like. I wouldn’t like a country that it is too overpopulated or too industrial without any natural sites to it. I know there are countries with bad situations that I would avoid, but I know that those are out of people’s control.]
9. If you could wake up tomorrow and be fluent in 3 additional languages, which would you choose?
[Russian, Latin, and Japanese but since I’m beginning to learn a little bit, I would also go with Mandarin. I think they are good to know and they sound interesting. It would also amplify my cultural knowledge (especially for if I have the chance to go to Japan :))]
11. What are the top 10 movies to make you cry? (Or at least make you sad!)
[The Lion King, UP, Life is Beautiful, Schindler’s list, The Green Mile, Hachi: A Dog’s Tale, Toy Story 3, Marley and Me. Those are the ones I can remember for now that I watched at least once.]
13. Would you rather raise 25 children or have the chance of ever having children taken away? Why?
[While 25 children is certainly a big responsibility, not having the opportunity to have children would be hard as it is one of the things that I want to get eventually as part of my life. I wouldn’t depend on having children to be happy in the future, but I would like to have the experience of raising them if possible.]
15. If you went to a desert island for just 6 months but could only take one album with you, what would you take?
[This is hard. I enjoy a lot of different types and having to stick to one, I mean I still would like it but I like to vary it from time to time. But if I had to choose then maybe between one of the following: Doobie Brothers, Reik, or perhaps Ryan Shuppe and the Rubber band albums.]
17. If you had to lose one of the 5 senses, which would you choose and why?
[This is hard as well but I think the one I would suffer less from would be if I lost smell. While I certainly would miss on many good smells, I think I could still manage without it better than if I were to loose one of the other ones like sight or hearing.]
19. What do you believe we as human beings take most for granted in this world?
[Sometimes it feels like humanity in general takes the world for granted. I don’t mean it is everyone’s fault. But somehow by looking at history it feels like humanity tries to change the world to its needs rather than humanity changing to be part of the world. And the changes that humans have made to the planet are starting to backfire. Kinda like a feeling that we as humans beings think we know a lot and what it’s best when we actually don’t.]
21. If your life was about to become like Cheaper By The Dozen and you were going to be saddled with 12 children, what would you name 6 girls and 6 boys?
[Oh man, I’m not really good with names. Personally I would name them after characters that I like but I’m just worried that those names might get them to be picked on. So I’ll try to go with regular names that I can think of. Girls: Ana, Mary, Jessica, Elizabeth, Emily, Stephanie. Boys: Leonardo, Tom, Ryan, Michael, Raphael, Donatello. These are not final and would probably change if I do end up with that many.]
23. What do you think happens when we die?
[I’d like to believe we truly go to a better place. In some way I believe we enter some sort of new life in which we apply what we learned in our previous life. Who knows, perhaps people have being reincarnating over and over again so we are all living different lives each time as soon as one ends, then we begin a new one.]
25. What’s the most frightening thing you’ve ever seen in your life?
[Other than a horrifying movie in my childhood, there was this one time I was on a boat trip on the sea and I happened to catch a glimpse of a giant shark. I think it may have been a great white. It gave me chills just thinking that there are creatures that big or unknown even deeper into the sea. I have nothing against them but I wouldn’t be too fond of finding myself near one.]
27. Do you believe one can fall out of love?
[I think it could happen, people can change with time after all and what might have worked at the beginning may no longer be the same later. But I also think it may be due to hard stresses of life that are out of a couple’s control, and eventually it comes back in ways that one may not expect.]
29. Have you ever had a paranormal experience? If so, what happened?
[I lost an aunt when I was just a kid. I remember a bit of what she was like and I was lucky to see her one last time before she passed away. Some years later when I visited my grandparents home, I slept in her room and in my dream I saw her. It felt so real and I woke up feeling a little scared because I wasn’t sure of what was going on. I feel bad about being afraid but I feel that it was just her way of telling me that she was ok.]
31. List the 7 deadly sins in order of the one you feel you commit the most to the one you feel you commit the least.[Sloth, Greed, Gluttony, Pride, Lust, Envy, Wrath].
33. How old were you the last time you went to visit Santa? Talk about that time.
[Oh boy, I think the last time might have been when I was around 6 if I recall correctly. It wasn’t very often that I went to visit any Santa, especially where I come from. But that particular time I was going to a Toys R Us and there was one in the area. So when I got asked what I wanted, I said that I wanted a real life spaceship so that I could go to the moon I think. It is a very vague memory, but I think I got NASA space shuttle toys that Christmas. The next year I found out about the secret of Santa, but to be honest I still find the “space shuttles cannot fit on our yard” response believable as to why I didn’t get one. Lol.]
35. What’s the funniest dream you’ve ever had?
[This was a dream based on something that happened in real life. But one day I was hanging out with friends with middle school, and one of my friends wanted to impress someone by doing something ‘cool’. So in the middle of his fancy act when he tried to do a fancy pose, he slipped and he spend a fair amount of time trying to get a grip from anything. I still feel bad, but we couldn’t stop laughing. The thing is, it actually worked! And somehow I had a dream that something like that happened again but I can’t quite remember if it was me this time around or not.]
37. Name 5 songs you wish you’d lost your virginity to? (Or would like to lose your virginity to.)
[ Interesting, um I really haven’t thought about that, don’t laugh but I guess some of my choices would be :
Marvin Gaye, Lets get it on.
Usher - DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love.
K C and the sunshine band get down tonight.
When Somebody Loves You Back - Teddy Pendergrass.
Bliss by John Legend & Teyana Taylor.
Like I said these are not definitive ones. When it eventually happens I would be more than happy to talk to the lady I share that moment with to find out something we both like.]
39. Put your iTunes on shuffle, write down the first line of five songs and give it to me as a poem.
[
The spell you got on me is like magic
I got a feeling in my bones
It’s too hard to sleep
Heaven must be missing an angel
Your love is like a fire.
(For a mix of random types of songs it came out nice :) ]
41. Who are your holy trinity? (3 celebrities or characters that come above any other for you.)
[Um hard to pick but,
Characters: Batman, Master Chief, Ezio Auditore.
Celebrities: Steve Blum, Jennifer Hale, Mark Hamil.]
43. Top 5 WORST movies you’ve ever sat through?
[Dragon Ball Evolution, The Last Airbender, Tropic Thunder, Godzilla (American version), Batman and Robin]
45. Tell a story that involves someone you had a crush on in school.
[This one is from when I was in middle school. I had this crush on a girl whose name was Daniela and luckily I was assigned a seat right next to her for an entire semester. So in a way I always tried to keep it cool, not doing anything embarrassing, and trying to be my best self. On one of those days, one of my friends, who happened to seat right in front of us, suddenly starts to ask me who did I like ‘like’. So he started naming a bunch of girls across the room and when he got to same her name, I suddenly froze and I was just trying to make like an ‘I don’t know pose’. It went terribly bad of course, and ever since that moment I became nervous to be around her. Everything remained the same between us, but I never figured out if the feeling was mutual. I’m still sort of mad for my friend to put me on the spot just like that but I’d like to believe he was just trying to help me out, even if he was laughing on the floor when that happened.]
47. If you woke up and had 10 million in your bank, what would be the first 3 things you did?
[Split into different save accounts to save it for any emergency. But then I would probably use some of it to pay any debts me and my family could have. Give some to charity and relief efforts. Invest on something like a big company or franchise. Save the rest for any unexpected events or the casual treats of vacations, a good place, and other little luxuries without expending way too much (maybe trips to exotic beaches, trips to Europe or Japan, those sort fo things).]
49. What’s the most romantic thing anyone has ever said to you?
[There was one friend from elementary who I used to hang out a lot before she left. But before she did, she told me this: “You maybe quiet and a bit shy but hanging out with you was one of the reasons I liked going to school because you have your own unique way of showing you care even without words.” We were teenagers but that has stuck with me even to this day.]
51. Name 5 facts that the vast majority of people won’t know about you.
[
1. Despite me being reserved and usually not the first one to sign up for parties of fun activities, I like spending time with people. It’s just that I’m somehow introverted and I might be a little selective on who I hang out with if I don’t know them well enough.
2. I’m secretly competitive in a fun and good way (I think). People are usually surprised just how into I can be into games and friendly competitions.
3. Though I haven’t done so in a really long time, I would like to try some dancing lessons for if a time comes, like social events or special occasions. Or just plain fun.
4. It seems that I’m a good cook or may have the potential to be. I’m still learning but from all of my experiments in the kitchen, people have liked what I made so far and that it is healthy as well.
5. I love to travel and go outside if the situation allows. Not always I have to admit as it depends on mood, location, and time. But sometimes I feel like going on little adventures, just hanging out, meeting new people, clear my mind, recover energy. Which is one of the reasons I’m getting more into outdoor sports or any activity to get some fresh air.]
53. How important do you think education is?
[Education is one of the most important things, especially to have options available, or at least having an idea of what is going around the world. There are other factors involved of course, but in my experience, education is what has allowed me to keep going and overcome my obstacles. Not only that but it also helped me figure out or get an idea of what I’d like to pursue for my future and how. I know it is pretty tiring and maybe a hassle, but the hard work does pay off.]
55. Do you have a toy that’s really special to you and if so what is it, how did you get it?
[I had a lot, but if I had to choose then it would probably be a batmobile from Batman the animated series. It was special to me because I loved Batman and the Batmobile has always being one of the coolest vehicles to exist. I liked it even more because it came with the Batwing inside so I could switch back and forth. I got it on Christmas and I still have good memories about it, but I think I may have already given it away.]
57. How did your name get chosen? What’s the story behind it?
[From what I’ve been told there were a few reasons behind my name. One of them is that since I was my father’s first born, he wanted me to have his name. But because I was born at night on December 24, and I didn’t give any trouble or pain to my mom during my birth, she wanted to name me Jesus or have it be part of my full name. I’m still fuzzy on the details but I think they eventually settled with my first name being Miguel and my middle Angel. In other words I was named after the Archangel Michael because of my good nature, and also because “Michael” or “Miguel” means the ‘one who is like the Lord’.]
59. Have there ever been rumours spread about you? If so, share them.
[ I don’t think I had rumors spread around me at all. I was quiet and not the center of attention of school so I don’t think there was much to say about me. There were a few that said that I was older than I actually was, that I was a grade bellow in school. But they based it on my height so I didn’t really care what they thought.]
61. Describe yourself in one word/sentence- what made you choose that?
[Practical yet ambitious, adventurous yet traditional, and bold yet cautious. I chose this because I have a little bit of these things within me. I’m usually the guy that likes to have a plan, some sort of idea of what to do if everything goes wrong and not being clueless. But I also like surprises, some unexpectedness for adventures and travel in a good way, not always having life dictated by a routine. Sometimes you have that feeling of doing something out of the blue, so I like to do and follow that if possible.Seeing the side of possible side and trying of new things but still keeping myself grounded.]
63. Share 7 facts about your childhood.
[
1. I had few friends but they were great friendships that I remember to this day. I wish I could see them again just to see how much we’ve changed.
2. Even to this day, I’ve always been the tallest person in the groups that I’m part of.
3. I enjoyed swimming a lot, even today, so every time I went to a pool or to the beach it was a dream come true to me.
4. Family vacations are heaven to me. When I was little I had more of those, so most of my best memories are from those events. Today I wish it was more easy to make them happen.
5. I loved to go biking in my hometown since it had some great places to go and see some good panoramas. I haven’t got the chance to do it more recently since I don’t have a bike. But I’ve been planing to save for a new one or a quad bike to go on even more adventures.
6. I liked buying the same clothes as my little bro so that we would look the same. It was fun at the beginning, then we stopped for a while, and now we developed the same style choice for clothes. In a way we are almost twins.
7. Don’t laugh, but I was obsessed with Dragon ball z. I wanted everything in my life to be like it. Me and my friends even practiced some of the moves. I had so many toys and my parties were also by that theme. Good times. ]
65. You’re in jail! What did you do?
[I honestly would have no idea why. I’m a person who follows every rule by the letter everywhere I go. I could imagine that it could be a misunderstanding or something important that I could have forgotten. For all I know I could have been driving as slow as a grandpa XD.]
67. Share 5 things you love unconditionally.
[
1.Family
2.Friends
3.My dog (even after he passed away)
4. Traveling
5. Myself
]
69. Describe one of the most awkward experiences of your life.
[So there was one time in high school during the first week in freshmen year that I sat alone in the cafeteria and then I’m joined by some other guy who seemed interested in becoming friends. He starts a usual conversation and I respond as best I can, but while we started great, somehow it felt like we ran out of things to say. I tried to make some jokes and talk about other things but his responses just got shorter and shorter. I offered him one of my oreos with good intent but after he ate it, he just stood there for a while without doing nothing with a weird face. I was afraid to ask if something wrong happened but I did anyways. He said nothing and then he just left afterwards. I never quite figured out what happened or what I did wrong or said.]
71. Name 5 people who are famous who you find attractive.
[If we are talking about celebrities then they are the same ones in question 1.]
73. If you could only listen to one band/artist for the rest of your life, who would you choose and why?
[I don’t think I can really pick one since I usually like to vary my selection and I pick up new bands and artists as time passes. But one possibility could be either the Doobie Brothers or Reik, or Sin Bandera, since they are the bands and groups I grew up listening to and I haven’t gotten tired of them.]
75. Who do you think is a really underrated celebrity and what do you love about them?
[Perhaps Leonardo DiCaprio. Even after they finally gave him the Oscar he deserved, I still somehow feel that he is a little underrated. I haven’t seen a lot of his movies outside Titanic, Inception, and a few others. But he is willing to go beyond the role, he has done so in inspiring ways, especially the Revenant. I’m sure there are plenty of others who are underrated but he was at the top of my mind recently.]
77. Have you ever been told you look like a famous person. If so, who?
[Not really, at least not that I remember. Although I think I recall somebody telling me that I looked similar to Chris Pratt when I went to see Jurassic World. Must have been my beard and my clothes.]
79. Share 4 facts about your parents.

2. I have a really good relationship with my mom. With my dad is…complicated.
3. My mom is one of the nicest people that I know, and she cooks really well.

]

[
1. One of them, Carlos, I knew from kindergarten all the way to middle school before I moved.

3. Another one of my friends, Andres, started as a bully as he always enjoyed stealing my lunch from me and bothering me whenever I had the chance. But after we got our conflicts resolved we became good friends and we usually worked on school projects.
4. I met one of my best friends, Diego, through my little brother and his best friend. Diego and I were the older siblings and we joked that someday we would end up as brothers in law since it amused us how his little sis and my little bro had a crush on each other.
5. The last one, was Abraham, the one who put me on the spot in front of my crush. He was the most outgoing in the group. But the one thing I remember most about him is that one time when we went to an amusement park. He puked accidentally in a roller coaster ride. It must have been karma because the victim ended up being someone who was bullying him for being afraid of roller coasters. Hahaha.]
83. Share 5 ways to instantly win your heart.
[
1. Being Honest and Understanding - These two things are key to create some familiarity and trust so that I can share more about my life. I find someone who is honest easy to talk to and helps to communicate better. Being kind and patient, as well as giving space when needed.

5. Be the you you want to be - Don’t be afraid to be goofy, awkward, or to do whatever you enjoy to do. There may be some things that I don’t get but that doesn’t mean that you should hide them or cut them out. I’m looking for someone who I can be myself no matter what, so it goes vice-versa. ]

[Anything physical or emotional that will hurt your loved one if they found out. Doing something you wouldn’t like it being done to you, and still doing it.]
89. Write an open but anonymous letter to a person of your choice.
[ Here goes:
This is an open letter to anyone who is having a tough time,
Know that you matter, that even though it might seem too hard or too stressful at times, you can do this. There are people who care and are more than willing to help. Rather than being your own worst critic, be the person that is there for you no matter what. Know that you are not alone, there are others who get you. To use an inspiring quote, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”, not only that but “Believing is the halfway point of reaching your goals”. Believe in yourself and dare to try, life is to short to be filled with regrets, even if we make mistakes, we learn from them until we reach the top. You can do this!
Sincerely,
Someone who wishes you the best.]
91. If food was people, who would be your best friend, your life partner, your enemy and your ex?
[Interesting, um my best friend would be any fruits or vegetables that I always eat like carrots, cucumbers, bananas, apples, etc. My life partner would be Greek or Chinese food (since they are healthy). My enemy would be junk food. And my ex would be hamburgers that were packed with cholesterol, lol. This is kinda hard XD.]
Stranded|| mrspiritual & korra-naga
@korra-naga
They were on a dirt road somewhere in the earth kingdom. The sun was high in the sky, and heat waves radiated from the ground. They landed there when Oogi had tired out. He and Korra walked ahead to see if there was a town nearby, but there wasn’t.
When they returned, there was no sign of Oogi. Tenzin put a hand up to shield his eyes from the bright sunlight as he looked up in search for his bison. He whistled and called Oogi’s name as loud as he could. “Oogi! Ooo-giii!” ...Nothing but a empty blue sky. Sweat trickled down his brow as worry began to set in.
“I don’t know where she could have gone.” He could already feel a dryness settling in his throat.
@korra-naga liked for a starter!
― What are you looking so anxious for?” Mako peered at Korra. “I’ve never seen you like this before, did something happen? H-hey, Korra...” He gently put his hand on her shoulder. “... are you listening?”
