For #JohnlockAngstSunday I decided to finally take the plunge and finally read madlori's epic Alone On the Water. 

I know it's a rite of passage in the fandom, but I haven't been able to bring myself to do it until now. I'm only 1 1/2 pages in and I'm already destroyed. (T_T) Someone hold me ~ I'm going to need so many tumblr cuddles after this! </3

UPDATE: I am deaded. (X_X) I don't think I've ever sobbed with that intensity or duration from written words. madlori is a master. I need to go read Enter and Sign In, Please just to clear my head with some fluff. Totally worth it, though. I am forever changed ♥ </3 ♥

I'm on a johnlock angst kick today, so I thought I'd revisit this old favourite. Heart-breakingly beautiful, it hurts in all the right places. I can feel it in every fibre of my being.

On a related note, I've decided to start doing #JohnlockAngstSunday Please join me if you're so inclined! I feel like Sundays are often melancholy; end of the weekend, winding down, mentally prepping to get back to the work week, and usually a bit low energy (and/or hungover *^_^*) Unless the fandom already has an angst day...? I figure it would be a nice counterpoint to the giddy energy of #RedPantsMonday (which is necessary to get the week off to a sexy start ♥)

I have never actually cried at a video like this, hyperventilating sobs at my screen with my hands over my mouth. I want to watch it again and again, but I know don't if my poor heart can take it.  The editing is gorgeous, song heart-wrenching, pacing, crossfades, everything expertly orchestrated for maximum feels. It cuts so deep because it is so real, so raw and brutal and honest. It is criminal that this doesn't have more views.
