Three things I can’t live without: Computer and drawing programs and my tablet, does that count as one or three? Also, tea and people who will listen to my constant complaining and terrible jokes.
Something I plan on learning: I would really like to learn Gaelic. if I had continued living in Scotland, I would have picked it up from TV because I used to watch Gaelic shows and I was, like, 2 so I might have learned a bit.
My family tree: My family is "the league of bloody nations" as my mother likes to call it. But it's only on her side. Her family originates in Scotland, but there is probably a Kinloch hidden in every first world country. We're taking over. My father's side isn't too expansive and I really don't like talking to/about them because they're mostly racist, homophobic, etc.
A piece of advice for all my followers: Life is hard, but it's harder if you don't try. Also, don't buy text books unless you know for a fact you need them. Even then, avoid your school bookstore. You will be lied to and cheated. Don't.

Green Mountain Avengers Origins-Personnel File 05
McKenna Bovey grew up in rural southern Vermont, receiving an upbringing that teetered on the edge of redneck and enlightened. Much of her youth was spent with her family, being ginger, and hunting and fishing alongside her schoolwork.
This all changed in her mid-teens, when her father went out for a little hunting trip. Days passed, and he did not return, search parties were formed, but were called off due to torrential rains that killed any chance of finding him. Kenna decided that she wasn't going to let that that stop her.
She set off into the woods, armed with naught but a shotgun, a machete, and two pairs of flannels to keep off the cold of the rain. After trudging through the vast forests for a day and a night, she discovered her father, treed by a massive werewolf, and barely clinging onto the branches and life itself.
Although she frankly hadn't believed in such things, Kenna was aware of one or two of the weaknesses of lycanthropes. Desperately searching for anything that was remotely silver on the ground nearby, and upwind of the werewolf, she discovered her fathers silver wedding band, and her own (mostly) silver necklace, quickly thinking.
After wrapping the silver chain of the necklace around her machete, and forcing the ring into the wide bore of her shotgun, Kenna masked her scent with the mud from the forest floor. Stealthily creeping up on the weerewolf, she managed to get her shot off into its flank.
Enraged, the great beast whirled around, only for the force of the movement to add momentum into the swing of her machete, instantly decapitating the ravening monster.
After helping her father down and getting some food into him, they took up the head and went home, where they became celebrated local heroes, and Kenna received an invitation to complete her high school career in the 50-State Initiative Program.
Over the intervening years, Kenna has become a great hero in her own right, adding on more and more weapons, a powered exoskeleton, and adding in anti-lycanthrope weapons to her arsenal. She still has her machete, though, now edged in silver.
Today, she is considered the premiere rogue werewolf hunter on the East Coast, and she leads seminars on the subject in between days that she spends patrolling and networking with game wardens in the huge forests of her native Vermont.
