-House Massey, oddly enough, owes its allegiance to House Massey, as it is a cadet house of the main branch at Stonedance, which has recently broken off and has carved out its own territory, though it maintains excellent relationships with the main house. The new House Massey has been charged by none less than the Iron Throne to suppress the bandits that plague the Kingswood, though their reach is limited by the vast woodlands. To that end, House Massey has established a vast wooden keep above the village of Copperton, called Kingswood Keep. Rich timberland is the greatest source of wealth in the region, and local artisans and carpenters make the most of the warrants of House Targaryen which allows them to harvest, which has led to Massey shields and spears becoming popular weapons throughout the kingdoms. House Massey is charged with maintaining security along the roads that crisscross the Kingswood, searching for contraband, excising duties, and arresting the odd vagabond and criminal. They are rapidly gaining a reputation in the seven kingdoms as excellent enforcers of the low laws, immune to attempts to bribe, as the penalty of taking graft, is death, or the Wall. In addition to traveling squads of well armed and armored guardsman, House Massey fields some of the best equipped heavy spear levies throughout Westeros, armed with longspears, javelins, and tower shields.
-Those who are born to House Massey begin play with +2 Wisdom, a wagon and medium, non-magical draft animal to pull it, an NPC follower who is either a hunter, woodworker, engineer, or trapper (Commoner) as well as training in the Search, Spot, and Listen skill sets, as well as an immediate 3 ranks in each.
