In 2016, Future dropped a mixtape called Purple Reign. On that tape, there’s a song called Never Forget. And on the song, Future said, “My auntie was a fiend, I used to serve her a hit.” When I heard that, I made a face, rewind the song to make sure I heard the line correctly, paused the song after realizing I did hear it correctly, and sat there for 5 minutes processing what I just heard. I seem to only have these moments when a rapper says an amazing line about how deep they was allegedly in the drug game.

I’ve said all of that to say, I had this moment again listening to Central Cee’s new album 23 an hour ago. He started off his verse on Ungrateful by saying, "Served a pregnant lady, it fucked up my head, couple things I regret tryna earn a wage." And I kept wheelin’ it from the top listening to it while processing it at the same time. 😂
