On a purely theoretical level Tom and Jackie could work, I guess, since Jackie’s would probably be beneficial to Tom, being chill enough not to care too much about his outbursts and flaws, and ready to give emotional support to her partner. But there’s also a number of issues: they never shared any amount of screentime, it could feel like a way to “pair the spares” (not necessarily something bad, depends from how it’s executed) and, most of all, one of the reasons behind Marco and Jackie breaking up was that she seemed to have realized that she wants a relationship that’s like Star and Marco’s, being able to date her best friend, someone who likes her over anyone else, not just romantically. Could that one be Tom, someone who right now seems to be struggling even just at putting all of himself in a relationship with a girl he wanted for a long long time (Jarco parallelisms ahoy)? So I wouldn’t say it’s the most outlandish idea for a ship out there, but as far as canon goes I see several obstacles that I’m not sure could be ever properly overcame, given the reduced amount of time dedicated to non-main characters.I wouldn’t say “no” to any kind of week, but I wouldn’t be interested in being personally involved with this one, nor I honestly think it’d have much of a success, being the subject so “niche”.
