Happy Earth Day!
The Bureau of Land Management is celebrating Earth Day 2013 with a look back at our Johnny Horizon Program, 1968-1977. The BLM created Johnny Horizon as an early symbol for anti-littering and public land stewardship. Johnny then represented the Department of Interior's Clean Up America campaign for the Bicentennial celebration in 1976.
