This time of the year, is one I look forward to as a make up artist. Why, you ask? Because of The Makeup Show and the Met Gala. Two events based in creativity, passion and spirit. ⠀ ⠀ As you know, COVID-19 has forced many gatherings to figure out how to go virtual and be successful in order to practice social distancing.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Although The Makeup Show has been postponed until August 23 & 24 2020, I would like to take a moment to look back and say “thank you”. Thank you to primarily Johnny Lavoy for introducing me to the world of makeup. ⠀ ⠀ My earliest attendance to The Makeup Shows were to Chicago, Dallas, NYC, and Orlando as Johnny Lavoy‘s model. It’s because of him I met Oksana Baiul, Reggie Wells, Sam Fine, Eugenia Weston, Nial and Tia Howard, Bethany Townes, James Vincent, LaQuanna Chong, Michael DeVellis and so many other artistic passionate creatives.
