Thinking about high school AU John having a huge embarrassing crush on Doria, we’re talking like, blushing and stammering when she’s in his line of sight kind of crush

And Doria would be super aware of this and tease him about it after they get together

Doria: “Hey John, do you remember that time I waved at you in the corridor for the first time and you spilled all of your very hot coffee on Conan so he had to go to the nurses office?"

John, hiding his face in his hands: "That didn't happen!"
