Supernatural | 2x09 - Croatoan Okay wow where do I even begin? Um.. I've always been a history buff but since I didn't grow up learning American history I had no idea about the Roanoke Colony and that Croatoan was an actual, real thing. So like wow. Honestly after reading up on it I'm more interested to know what actually happened to all the people in the colony. The most logical explanation that I can find is that they were killed by the local residents. (̶O̶r̶ ̶m̶a̶y̶b̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶y̶ ̶w̶e̶r̶e̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶k̶i̶l̶l̶e̶d̶ ̶b̶y̶ ̶d̶e̶m̶o̶n̶s̶ ̶o̶r̶ ̶s̶o̶m̶e̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶s̶u̶p̶e̶r̶n̶a̶t̶u̶r̶a̶l̶ ̶l̶i̶k̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶)̶ But anyway coming to episode, I really think it's such a well crafted episode. We know already that @erickripke has always tried to incorporate American history and lore into his writing and this is such a beautiful way of doing it. As usual @jensenackles and @jaredpadalecki are absolutely phenomenal and oh so very beautifully talented I cannot even begin to describe.
