What I want to get back from my group's discussion is where I can go with the ideas that I already have. Right now I'm a little spacey and my head hurts because I can't stop blowing my nose for the past week. So I haven't been able to think straight.
Video Project Plans
Idea: What I want to focus on or portray is "permission" to pirate. Where this is coming from is that during some celebrity interview videos that I've watched, questions have came up about if they are okay with people/fans pirating their music. And most of them, Lady Gaga and Demi Lovato, said that the REASON why they make music is so that people can experience their songs and just enjoy them. And they both agree that they don't really care if people pirate their music or not.
Video: The video would consist of clips of "political people" talking about how pirating music is really bad and that nobody should be doing it while something pirated plays in the background or under the clips.
What a Viewer Sees On My Page....
What they would see first is the Twitter widget that I have placed on my page. Reason why is because it is a really big widget (can't miss it) and because that is the only thing I have so far on my page.
But actually, I think the first thing someone would see is my home page's banner and then the title of my page which has a sky blue color font. Because my page's banner is more contrasty than the title of my page, it would make sense that they would notice my banner first before my vaguely colored title.
3 Questions
1. When making videos are as simple and accessible as snapping a finger, what will separate video as an art form from what was made for a laugh?
2. Since the thought of creating art with cinematography, this must've been a very controversial type of art, because you see things, expecting to understand but ending up not. Will we ever reach a limit where we can say that we as artists have gone too far?
3. Having time and space as a medium, are we not as not as equal as the gods?
