I'll introduce local fruits such as durian mangosteen rambutan buah Salak (snake skin fruit) etc. The local vegetable in the wet market but today I want to show you a rare tropical fruit that is not known by the young generation ie. Buah Sentul In some countries made in to pickles, if you're in Kuala Lumpur and you want to follow me in KL city tour we will stop at Kuala Lumpur City gallery where we have about 7minutes light show. Here people find that Kuala Lumpur is divided into segments or districts, one of the district is called Sentul, it was the centre hub for the railway repair in British era and after. Today Sentul having a face lift and area is much developed The Sentul fruit grows well in tropical area with enough of rain and also can stand long drought the fruit is as big as an apple or a pear but it's segment inside like mangosteen. Mangosteen is purple colour but Sentul is a bit of a brownish colour. It's appetising when it's ripe, this, I collected from the fallen fruit of the tree. When I open and ate Sentul fruit is sweet and bit sour, mostly sweet than sour.
