#Rum #10 We took a tour of @johnwatlingsofficial yesterday, were we were able to sample some Piña Colada at the door. We were first given a little historical background on the place. We were taken to the warehouse where the rum is distilled, packaged and labeled all by hand. Every single part of the process is done by hand. It is a truly artisan company. Our guide explained the aging process and we got to smell the difference. Older rums smelled more potent. The oldest one we smelled was at least six years old. I literally smelled it and said that the fumes alone were enough to get you drunk as I felt them go straight to my brain. At the end of the tour was a shop and a full bar.
