Tanjung Priok Port Removed from the War Prone Port List
JAKARTA - The Joint War Committee (JWC), a committee representing UK-based securities firms, removed Port of Tanjung Priok from the port-prone harbor list. In JWC publication released today (25/6/2018), Tanjung Priok Port is no longer listed in the list that was updated on June 14, 2018. In fact, in the previous publication, the Port of Tanjung Priok or Port of Jakarta is still listed in the list of zones prone to war. JWC launch, there are five waters are categorized as a war risk that is Africa region, including Libya, Somalia, Nigeria and Togo. Then the Indian Ocean covers the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Eden, the Gulf of Oman and the Red Sea. Furthermore, the waters are considered vulnerable to Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Yemen, and Venezuela.
