     There was brief moment of shock before the events properly registered, bringing a frown upon his lips as he turned attention to the comedian. A hand came up to wave the fan away— carefully but still not all too gentle out of last second consideration for  DAMAGING  it. ( Was it even easy to do something like that ? He never  DID  bother to find out and now wasn’t the time ). Brows furrowed but not in a glare or anything of the sort, oh no ! Simply to fix the other with an expression that read precisely as ‘ what was  THAT  for ? ’

Well, once upon a time I met this person. We were muns of the same muse. I really thought their writing was good, and we hit it off pretty well! Gushing about our muse and roleplaying a bit. But then at one point they vague posted about me and called me an ‘amateur roleplayer’. Did I take it the wrong way? Because it seemed to me like a message that I’ve been wasting their time. If they thought that way, why did they agree to interact? It didn’t matter because I did what I always do in such situations. Walk away. I hate conflict and confrontations. Plus I barely knew them so it was easy.

Maybe I overreacted but it really put a damper on my roleplaying experience, and certainly didn’t do well for my self-esteem.

But! I wasn’t about to let that stop me from doing what I love. And it didn’t affect how I feel about duplicates. I always welcome muns of the same muse! It’s nice to see each of our unique portrayals.

Now I can’t say I can give any decent advice on how to avoid, but how to deal? Do what makes you feel most comfortable and happy. Your well-being is most important. Also, there are plenty of amazing people to meet and interact with. Don’t let one bad experience ruin your passion entirely.

            “  long time no see,  ” she greets as she slips into the seat next to the male, hand waving down the bartender. “  how’s your journey to quitting bad habits  ??  ” reina asks, turning to the male after ordering her beverage. “  still spending your savings on diabetes on a stick or have you gone CLEAN now  ??  ” she queries, propping her head up with a hand.

He shifted his tired gaze towards Sasara. Their crepes looked similar indeed, nothing out of the ordinary, which did not explain why he was feeling so poorly. “Y-You’re not... getting any cramps, Nurude-san? If not, it would just be me. I don’t think I’m lactose intolerant... Then again, I’m not sure anymore.”

A low bitter chuckle left him as he murmured on. “It figures. I’m that much of a failure that my food have it out for me. This is what I get for indulging in treats. I’m sorry, you’re better off in someone else’s company. I’m sorry, I’m sorry...---”

      honestly speaking, plum really looked forward to the random jokes or puns the other had to offer. more so the puns really, they had a weakness for things like that. so now hearing the joke offered that day, the jeweler stifled a laugh in their hand.  ❝ the double meanings always get to me i feel. ❞

     “ Eh ? The wrong way...? ” He tilted his head in wonder though knew full well that neither case was true. This guy was  PURPOSEFULLY  avoiding him. But he would play along for the time being. No matter if it was the Sasara from his time or another, anyone should know better than to even  THINK  they could get away with it. A small frown crossed his features just for a moment, fading into a wide smile as he spoke.

          “ I know I did it right. I guess it  DID  just get buried. Well it doesn’t matter now since we’re both here anyway ! We should hang out, Sasa-san ! I can even show you around. You just got here, right ? I’ve been here for, like,  EVER  ! So I’m totally qualified for the job ! ”
