HC Idea #9

Mic has dated Ms. Joke for a very brief period of time until they both realized that the only thing they ever do together is talk about Aizawa, so they stopped “dating” and just hung out in their free time to talk about Aizawa.

Regardless, the idea of the two of them being a couple still terrifies and haunts Aizawa to this day.

♡ them commentating on some sports event with the 2 schools together?????? that would be so much fun

♡ mic has totally invited her to be on put your hands up radio or banana dreamer and it just turned into a standup routine lmao

♡ joke is mic’s bodyguard when it comes to his insect phobia 

♡ chores eventually get interrupted by dance breaks bc they both like blasting music when they do work around the house and sometimes a tune is just too catchy to miss

♡ their schedules tend to occasionally mismatch, so on days when they don’t see each other much they make sure to send each other plenty of voice messages & dumb selfies & memes 

♡ girlboss/malewife dynamic >:)))

♡ i live for their height difference.............

♡ mic loves emi’s laughter, especially when it’s the genuine uncontrollable kind. he finds it absolutely endearing when she snorts from laughing really hard

♡ emi never fails to make mic laugh by reading something in english very incorrectly

♡ also they both love trash tv and can talk shit about another new stupid show for hours

♡ both tend to really play up their personas & hide their true feelings, but around each other there’s no hiding, bc they immediately see through each other’s masks 

♡ joke is prone to nervous laughing in serious / stressful situations and has trouble controlling it sometimes, and some ppl misunderstand it as her not treating the problem seriously or being inappropriate

♡ but mic is attentive & figures it out quickly, and knows that in moments like that she just needs some support and comfort

♡ mic gets really stressed out when he has to talk to the press, and i hc that joke doesn’t take the reporters very seriously. imagine them getting surrounded by journalists, and while mic immediately tenses up and is ready to get defensive, joke starts responding to their questions with absolute nonsense. the situation feels so silly and lighthearted that mic eventually relaxes a bit and joins in. they both try really hard not to laugh as the bullshit they’re coming up with on the spot gets more and more elaborate

♡ the next day they discover the dumbest news headlines they’ve ever seen and the fact that anyone bought the nonsense they were saying just makes them cackle

♡ they can be surprisingly quiet around each other, just comfortable silence after a long day of work. ppl who don’t know them well might be weirded out by seeing the 2 of them just being quiet and might assume they’ve had an argument

♡ but in fact they're just resting and taking a break from all the noise! i mean they both have such loud and energetic personas that quiet downtime is absolutely necessary and super special

♡ i hc that joke’s quirk leaves her with emotional exhaustion / severe burnout for a couple days if she overuses it

♡ mic being extra careful to stay quiet when she’s too exhausted / has a migraine after a long day of work!!!!!

♡ also gently cheering her up with cuddles & dumb jokes, or just sending her memes!!!!!!!!

♡ joke making mic tea when he overuses his voice and ends up unable to speak!!!!!! 

♡ also of course she pokes fun at his voice going all squeaky when he eventually tries to speak again

♡ fic idea?? just them taking care of each other after a tough week at work!! it’s such a vulnerable thing to take a break from your loud facade and just spend the day in bed, cuddling and watching some silly movies :’))

♡ joke is stronger physically, mic has a more powerful quirk

♡ long range attack + short range attack — they could be a great duo!

♡ mic does muay thai (according to smash) & i hc that joke is a boxer -> what if they’re both big martial arts nerds!!!!!!

♡ what would their combined attack be?????? joke using her quirk to make mic explode with laughter resulting in a destructive shock wave lmao?

♡ they could team up and infiltrate some villain group together. mic and joke can both play dumb and act goofy as hell, which makes the villains believe they can be easily manipulated or mislead. once the villains relax and let down their guards though, they learn that micjoke quickly turn terrifying and chaotic if you mess with them

"Hey everyone! Dinners done!" Emi shouted up the stairs. Shouta was the first down, almost dragging Izuku with him.

"Dad pleaaase just a few more minutes! I almost got the circuits done!" Izuku tried to worm out of the capture weapon

"Absolutely not, if I have to eat at a regular time, so do you." Shouta sighed droppings the scarf so Izuku could go to the table. Izuku was quick to make a break for it, but got stopped at the stairs by Kayama and Hizashi.

"I also heard you exploded the support lab twice today." Kayama said, walking in unison with Hizashi as they hooked him under the arm like a captive.

"It's a lab! That's what you're supposed to do!" Izuku argued, trying to puppy dog eye Hizashi.

"Not twice a day!" Hizashi interrupted, turning his head away to avoid his weakness.

"Give em hell Izuku!" Emi raised the serving spoon like a sword.

"Don't encourage him!" The other three face palmed.

So. I might’ve written an EraserJoke...Mic thing and I’m debating whether it’s something I should post.

Do I really need to start something new right now? Or maybe I’m better off keeping this one for my own enjoyment. 🤔
