I find it hilarious that my "manager" tried to goad me into a fight by demoting me down to a cashier from a CSM. Said it was "reliability" issues due to my illnesses over the last couple of months. Thing she wasn't expecting: I HATED being a CSM anymore. Only reason I stayed was the team I worked nights with. So I almost danced a jig out of the office.

          his strides are large and crass as usual but this time SMOKE SMELLS surround. fumes of senseless murder rise off his shoulders; an   exploded gas station  in central city and hundreds injured. few dead. it makes him WHOLE again. it balances his whimsy gait with  INELEGANCE.   allows him to recede mentally in a COCOON of desire and  SPITE,   forgetting---------- oh, but he remembers her now because she's slid into view lookin’ somewhat DIFFERENT from when he left her. joker’s voice is alluring, NOT A THREAT because he SPOILS HER SO.           '    baby cheeks  —–                                                wha's the matter? ya look like ya ran outta GAMES. .   .   .   '

          first, a moment of horror. kohl around his eyes, the crease lines of his appearing scowl are more evident as his gaze flicks to her falling motion. joker reaches out and scoops her in before she could hit the floor, forearm coming around her above the womb that he's quickly considered to be affected.  annihilated.  he secures her to his BARE RIBS, not with the violence and ROUGHNESS of before but firmly and with a new CAUTION she could consider.....tender.    her blonde streaks were mottled and dampening in tears. she was breaking down like he'd never SEEN before. his STRONG harley, coming apart in his hands. it brings him to brush his lips against her hair, perhaps an attempt to somehow appease. joker leads her to the bed, somewhere for her to sit, and leaves her down like a DEAD ANIMAL before he lets his body take over. fists clench and he  DISTANCES     himself from her, sliding to the window for a change in view.    her BLOOD’S all on his skin now. she was mangled inside for whatever reason he didn't want to ponder about but meant that his girl had  FAILED    to carry   THEIR   child. she FAILED, even if he had not WANTED the child to begin with. she had failed the very distinction of being WOMANLY----she had failed even a SIMPLE and NATURAL thing as  THAT  and therefore she had failed   HIM.            ‘      YOU   lost him.    ‘       he’s not angry. or yelling.                                                        had it really been his fault.
