there isn't much chance of getting 30 followers in the next twenty-nine hours, but that's alright! i appreciate every last one of you who have followed me over these past few days and, of course, over the past couple of months!! you've all been really great, and i appreciate even the ones who just allow what i post/create to show up on their dash.

Oh how rude! I feel you though. For many homophobia isn't hate, it's difference in culture/ignorance

right, exactly!!! i did try to explain to her that using the word was kind of hurtful and offensive, but she pulled the 'you're only giving it power by being offended' thing and well.

i just can't wait to leave florida, i guess!!

i've actually been thinking about this a lot lately, because i haven't written in a while. and i've wondered if it's because of how sad and resigned i feel about season 9 so far, and i wonder if i'll start writing again when it gets better (see that? i'm being an optimist. when, not if.)

i've also wondered if it's because i'm in this super dorky blissfully happy all-i-can-think-about-is-Amber state of mind, and maybe once we settle into our life together in LA, my mind will settle too and i'll write again.

of course, there's also the whole writers' block thing. which you'd think would scare me, considering i barely wrote anything for a whole decade before i started writing on here. but i'm sort of okay right now with not writing too much- i write here and there, and sometimes i write ridiculously head over heels in love poems for Amber, but i feel like maybe taking a break from writing can also be good for a bit?

sorry i turned this into such a long answer, wowee. whoops. but it's something i have been thinking about a lot, so there it is. idk, maybe i'll start writing again soon, i may have some poetry claws digging into my mind :)
