December 2012 Mix of the Month Comes from DJ Jon Baxter the only DJ to turn commercial music on its head.

Jon Baxter is without doubt one of the most thrilling and lively dj’s on the circuit.  His live performances are best described as ‘superb’  and he truly manages to capture a great atmosphere with his creative mixing style,  crowd awareness and energy. 

Not long after he started mixing at just 16 years old,  Jon was being noticed all across the board for his mixing ability and energy behind the decks.  At the tender age of 17 Jon was offered his first set in a local nightclub,  the same club offered him a residency that night  and from there onwards and for the last ten years Jon has worked up and down the country  working for various agencies, working in some great venues as well as holding down two residencies in his local town.  Jons major breakthrough came when he was offered a summer long residency with Mambo Productions in Ibiza 2009.  During that summer, Jon was a resident dj for pre-parties such as  Clubland,  Pukka Up & Twice As Nice and soon became a familiar face across the island,  which lead to Jon being asked to play at several events at massive clubs such as  Eden Ibiza,  Es Paradis Ibiza,  BN3 Ibiza & Savannah Beach Club Ibiza.  Now back in the UK Jon can be seen playing at various bars and clubs across the country  and also sends out free mixes every month on Facebook, make sure you check them out!
