Recovering from Hepatitis C and cirrhosis of the liver, 45-year-old Alejandro Escovedo reunited with True Believers bandmate Jon Dee Graham and supported by guests, including Mark Andes (Canned Heat, Firefall, Spirit) and Susan Voelz (Poi Dog Pondering), as well as production help from John Cale.

Many years ago I did an Americana centric program on Skidmore College’s station, so I built a vast collection of stuff from which to choose. Sadly we needed to pay tribute to another gifted singer-songwriter who left us too soon, Jon Dee Graham, which happens in the “third half” of the program.
