Summary: When Pete Ross and his teen-aged son Jon Ross resurrect in 2022 with the explosion of the omniverse during the Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths, they have to learn how to navigate a world that looks nothing like the one they died in back in 1986. This includes learning how to live with the fact that they are not the only Ross’s of Smallville to exist, and that Superman himself is just one out of an infinity of Supermen.

I wanted to dedicate at least one story this fanevent to a pre-Crisis character's rebirth/resurrection woes. Pete and Jon were my picks. They were just a small part of Superman's Bronze Age adventures, but they made an impact on me when I was a kid, and I wanted to pay homage to them before my patience with DC runs out and I don't read any of their comics again until I'm a grandma LOL. Clark, of the 3 things on this panel only one of them is even SLIGHTLY your fault.  You were a literal baby when Krypton blew up. That’s a “failure” in the same way someone orphaned by an earthquake didn’t stop the quake And in Pre-Crisis your parents died of old age and natural causes. Happy, fulfilled and having lived full lives raising you into the man that you are now. That’s not even a failure that’s just the natural mortality of mankind playing out in literally the best way possible. They loved you Clark, that’s no failure.

After the untimely demise of the entire SourseFed company and all of it’s assets. People Be Like a crazily creative, funny, and inventive channel/show was scrapped and left out to dry too. Leaving it’s creators and fans dreaming of what could have been. William Haynes, Yessica Hernandez Cruz, and Jon Ross put their heart and soul into their steadily growing channel and were unfairly washed up by the same wave that took SourceFed. But after over a year of radio silence, a new video was posted today with the plot twisting news that PEOPLE BE LIKE IS BACK! William Haynes ain’t a quiter and when he wants something he gets it. He has spent the last few months trying to obtain the rights to the company he built. He’s succeeded and People Be Like is back and will begin posting two new videos a week every Tuesday and Thursday once more.

Show them some love. They deserve it.
